Platelet-rich plasma is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein derived from whole blood and works
on the principle of density gradient centrifugation. Plasma is a component of blood that contains special 'Factors'
or proteins that help blood to clot. It also contains proteins that support cell growth.
PRP contains different growth factors and other cytokines which may elicit
gathering of stem cells around the damaged region stimulating cellular proliferation and tissue
regeneration. PRP also contains growth factors that stimulate cellular growth and division.
When the platelets in PRP are activated by thrombin, they release growth factors and other
substances that serve to accelerate the wound-healing process by increasing cellular proliferation,
matrix formation, osteoid production,
connective tissue healing, angiogenesis, and collagen synthesis.
Why JK's Easy PRP?
JK's Easy PRP tube is Gamma Sterile & individually packed.
8 times more platelet can be obtained using JK's Easy PRP tube.
Autologous blood is used to prevent any risk of infection, allergic reaction, or any other side effect.
The treatment is quick and simple
Because the treatment uses growth factors, its effects are superior & effective
How to prepare PRP?
1. Collect the blood sample using venipuncture technique.
2. Ensure proper mixing of blood and anticoagulant.
3. Centrifuge for 10mins at 2100-2500 RCF at room temperature.
4. Distinct layers are visible.
5. Then gently draw the concentrated plasma and collect it in an empty sterile tube. This is a very important process to harvest platelets as much as possible.
Note: Make sure not to touch the separation gel if gel is present
6. Centrifuge the concentrated plasma at 2100-2500 RCF for 5 minutes.
7. After centrifugation, the top layer obtained is poor platelet plasma (PPP) and remaining is platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
8. Inject the PRP into the areas required.
JK Easy PRP Variants ANTICOAGULANTS
1. ACD Solution
2. Sodium Citrate
3. Heparin
ADD-ONS
1. Separation Gel- The separation gel is bio compatible and acts as a barrier between the RBCs and the plasma.
2. Biotin - Biotin is recommended for hair strengthening and growth.
